GPM Investments’ Dixie Mart Store 17275 in Bossier City, LA is seeking a part-time Cashier/Sales Associate. You will greet customers, operate the register, handle sales of everyday items, and help keep the store clean and inviting in all weather.

Cross-training in deli may occur, with safety and policy compliance at the core. The role emphasizes reliable, friendly service with opportunities for advancement in a fast-paced retail environment and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb.
• English reading, writing and speaking required.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Friendly, reliable and customer-focused.
• Willing to cross-train in other departments.
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register accurately and quickly.
• Master lottery, cigarette and alcohol sales with age verification compliance.
• Upsell products when possible to increase sales.
• Keep store clean and safe inside and outside (restrooms, pumps, lot).
• Stock shelves and displays; maintain neat aisles.
• Cross-train in deli or other departments as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and help where needed.
