GPM Investments is seeking an Assistant Manager for Store 17292 in Minden, LA. The role supports the Store Manager in daily operations, supervises a team, and ensures excellent customer service across shifts. Strong leadership and a can-do attitude are essential for this fast-paced convenience store environment.

The position offers full-time hours, with weekend and holiday work required. Compensation includes hourly pay, potential bonus, and benefits typical of a retail leadership role.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends, holidays, and second/third shifts.
• Must have valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle with proof of insurance.
• 21+ years old minimum.
• Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong English communication and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms, trash areas, and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership that motivates your team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
