Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a Cashier/Sales Associate for the Midday/2nd shift at Dixie Mart in Springhill, LA. The role emphasizes friendly service, register operation, and keeping the store clean, safe, and stocked.

You will assist with lottery, tobacco, and alcohol sales in compliance with age verification, maintain hygiene, upsell when appropriate, and are encouraged to cross-train in other departments. Flexible schedules and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen
• Criminal history background check
• Age requirements vary by state (see listing)
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
• Availability for 2nd shift, weekends and holidays, 2 PM–Midnight
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on feet most of shift

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed
• Proficiently handle lottery, tobacco, and alcohol sales with age verification
• Upsell customers to increase sales
• Keep store clean and safe including restrooms, pumps, and lot
• Stock shelves and displays; maintain a neat, organized store
• Cross-train in other departments such as deli as needed
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• Be a supportive team player and assist wherever needed
