LensCrafters in Mentor, OH is seeking an Assistant Manager to serve as a leader in the Store Manager's absence and to act as a business owner within the marketplace. You will drive customer experience, coach staff, and help deliver strong sales and service metrics.

The role requires a minimum high school diploma and 1+ year of supervisory experience, with a strong understanding of retail operations and policy compliance. A college degree is preferred and health benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ year of management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Must have strong command of English for written and oral communication.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Demonstrated selling skills.
• Proven problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality and improvement to exceed KPIs, including sales, traffic, and profitability objectives.
• Leads and develops the store team in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Maintains store appearance and visual directives.
• Ensures positive relationships with doctors and customers.
• Supports adherence to policies and procedures.
• Performs administrative duties and works a schedule including nights and weekends.
