Job summary

Yesway- in Odessa, TX, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, staff development, and customer service excellence. You will help manage shifts, training, and guest transactions while upholding company standards in a high-volume convenience environment.

You will ensure compliance with regulations, assist with audits, stock placement, and inventory controls, and contribute to achieving profit goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of required certification testing upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with management responsibilities including training and development of employees and store responsibilities.
• Scheduling employees for shifts.
• Resolving store issues including customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all required regulations and requirements.
• Assist with audits and proper placement and stocking of merchandise.
• Ensure hospitality for all store guests by overseeing timely guest transactions.
• Monitor profits through end of day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations and retail waste.
