Job summary

Yesway, Inc. in Stephenville, TX is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations, lead a team, and ensure excellent guest service.

You will train staff, schedule shifts, resolve issues, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee merchandising, audits, and loss prevention to maximize profits.

This role requires at least a high school diploma and one year supervising others; certification upon employment may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year experience supervising others in a fast food, restaurant, retail or convenience operation preferred.
• Successful completion of required certification testing upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with training and development of employees and store responsibilities.
• Scheduling employees for shifts.
• Resolving store issues including customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all required regulations and requirements.
• Assist with audits and proper placement and stocking of merchandise.
• Ensure hospitality for all store guests by overseeing timely guest transactions; and
• Monitor profits through end of day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations and retail waste.
