Job summary

7-Eleven in Ohio is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team in New Albany. You will work with the Store Leader to supervise staff, deliver excellent customer service, and drive daily operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role offers full-time hours, competitive pay, and benefits. You will oversee merchandising, coach team members, handle cash and loyalty programs, and support growth from within.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; not required with 1+ year Retail Management experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with active auto liability insurance.
• Ability to multi-task, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching with the Store Leader.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Maintain cash handling, fuel transactions, and loyalty program promotion.
• Keep store clean, safe, and well-stocked; ensure health and sanitation procedures.
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork; recruit and develop staff.
