Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop the team. You’ll assist with opening/closing, merchandise flow from delivery to sales floor, and maintain clean, well-stocked areas to company standards.

You’ll supervise and train Store Associates, protect assets, process directives, and uphold safety policies while fostering a positive, fast-paced work environment across the store at Owings Mills, MD.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and store management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to supervise, train, and develop store associates in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Help customers and address questions or concerns in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates and ensure a respectful environment.
