Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Downingtown, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development.

You will assist with daily store functions, support opening and closing procedures, help organize merchandise, train and supervise associates, and maintain a clean, safe environment while protecting company assets and ensuring policies are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Provide positive customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotion effectiveness of fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged stock, payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention.
