Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in a dynamic retail environment.

You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and participate in opening/closing procedures while ensuring safety and company standards are followed. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining displays, and caring for a clean, welcoming store.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, interpret and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery or drug store preferred.
• Lift up to 55 lbs; frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays and customer-facing areas.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record-keeping and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and supervise/train store associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, including bathrooms, floors and trash disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
