Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help with daily activities, merchandise organization, and staff supervision to ensure a positive shopping experience.

The role emphasizes strong communication, operat ional execution, and adherence to store policies, with responsibilities spanning opening/closing, asset protection, and staff coaching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain directives.
• Experience in retail store management preferred in consumer goods settings.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Provide positive customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise transfer from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support ordering, damaged merchandise processing, and payroll/scheduling records.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect assets including store cash and adhere to safety policies.
• Help supervise and develop store associates.
