Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, support staff, and ensure shelves and displays are well organized.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, merchandising, payroll and scheduling support, and loss prevention. This role emphasizes maintaining a safe, friendly environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and loss prevention.
