Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily operations, customer service, and team development. You will support store functions, supervise associates, and ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

The role involves merchandising, opening/closing duties, loss prevention, coaching staff, and maintaining store standards. Part-time hours offer flexibility while delivering strong store performance and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience managing retail teams preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling as needed.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Assist in training and development of Store Associates.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
