Job summary

Spirit Halloween is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for a Seasonal Store. You will support the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown to ensure smooth operations and peak performance.

You will help drive guest services, staff development, and inventory control while managing expenses and shrink. The role requires an 18+ age, flexibility, and physical stamina for long shifts, including standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store.
• Ensure maximum sales and guest satisfaction while developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage.
• Oversee merchandising and inventory control, with emphasis on safe lifting and physical store operations.

Job description

Hourly rate ranges from $18.90 - $19.15 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store ensuring maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control. The minimum age requirement is 18 and must have a flexible schedule. The physical demands of the job require 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. Prior retail management experience is required.
