Job summary

A seasonal retail company, located in Brooklyn Park, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager. You will support the Store Manager by overseeing staffing, setup, merchandising, and teardown of the store. Compensation

Hourly rate ranges from $16.75 – $17.25 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack‑up, and teardown of a seasonal store.
• Ensuring maximum sales and profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services standards.
• Developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage, and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.

Qualifications & Physical Demands

Minimum age requirement: 18 years and must have a flexible schedule. Physical demands include 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting or moving up to 50 pounds. Prior retail management experience is required.
