Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead with energy and purpose. You will support the Store Manager, coach team members, and drive sales while ensuring a high level of customer service on the floor.

You will participate in daily operations, including opening/closing, cash handling, and safety compliance, while leveraging store technology to enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail leadership or key holder experience.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the sales floor with energy, confidence, and solutions for customers.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and share product knowledge.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and closing the loop with customers.
• Help manage daily store operations including opening/closing and cash handling.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs to protect customers and product.
• Take an owner/operator mindset and maintain store standards while addressing issues.
