Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service, and team development in a fast-paced retail environment. The role focuses on supporting the Store Manager, supervising associates, and maintaining a clean, well-organized store.

The position emphasizes customer-focused service, leadership in daily tasks, and adherence to company policies to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers and a productive work environment for staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and supervise team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner
• Organize merchandise and transfer from delivery to floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Maintain store areas to company standards
• Assist in ordering merchandise and record keeping
• Protect and secure store assets including cash
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing associates
• Create a positive, safe, and respectful environment
• Others as assigned
