Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Boston to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will help with daily store activities, organize merchandise from delivery to floor, and assist in opening and closing procedures.

The role requires strong communication and leadership to supervise associates, maintain a clean, safe environment, and ensure policy adherence. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store is preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform repetitive movements.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain and update fixtures, displays, and promotional materials.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Supervise and develop store associates to maintain a safe, respectful environment.
