Job summary

Rural King is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily store operations and deliver an outstanding customer experience. This role partners with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop associates, oversee merchandising and inventory, and ensure operational excellence.

The Assistant Store Manager will coach and develop associates, support recruiting, and uphold Rural King's values of People First, Integrity, and teamwork, while maintaining a safe and engaging shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of retail leadership or supervisory experience.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.
• Experience with retail operations, merchandising, inventory, scheduling, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily retail operations with Store Manager to drive sales and performance.
• Coach and develop associates; conduct evaluations and recognition.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support scheduling, labor planning, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention.
