Job summary

Rural King is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily store operations and deliver an outstanding customer experience. This role partners with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop associates, oversee merchandising and inventory, and ensure operational excellence.

The Assistant Store Manager coaches and develops associates, supports recruiting efforts, and leads with Rural King's values of People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous

Qualifications

2+ years of retail leadership or supervisory experience.
Ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
Experience with retail operations, merchandising, inventory management, scheduling, and customer service.
Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily store operations alongside the Store Manager.
Drive sales, manage inventory, merchandising, pricing, and operational excellence.
Coach and develop associates; conduct performance evaluations and recognition.
Lead recruitment/hiring efforts and succession planning for store leadership.
Deliver exceptional customer service and support customer loyalty initiatives.
