Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Tucson location. You will assist with daily store functions, help customers, and ensure merchandise is properly organized from delivery to floor.

The role requires lifting up to 55 lbs, strong communication, and the ability to work in a high-energy team environment. Part-time hours and a friendly, safe store atmosphere are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, accounting records, scheduling, and cash handling.
