Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support in-store operations, customer service, and staff development. You will help with daily tasks, assist customers, organize merchandise, and assist in training Store Associates while ensuring a safe and friendly shopping environment.

Role requires strong communication skills, prior retail or store management experience is preferred, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail management experience encouraged.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stay active on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and activities.
• Help customers with inquiries and provide friendly service.
• Organize merchandise and transfer stock from delivery to floor as needed.
• Lead and develop store associates under the Store Manager guidance.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and ensure security of assets.
• Maintain store cleanliness and visual standards and ensure safety rules are followed.
