Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager at our New York store. Lead daily operations, coach associates, and uphold store standards to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, onboarding, and enforcing policies while driving sales and ensuring loss prevention. This role reports to the Store Manager and emphasizes teamwork and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Proven track record of producing sales results while minimizing loss.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Administer discipline with verbal and written warnings in the manager's absence.
• Engage team to create a fun, productive environment aligned with company objectives.
• Recruit and train store personnel on operations and procedures.
