Lids Sports Group is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Albany, NY. You will lead daily store operations, drive sales, and mentor a growing team in a fast-paced retail environment. This role emphasizes customer service, visual standards, and adherence to brand guidelines.

You will report to the Store Manager and help ensure a high-quality shopping experience while managing staffing and store priorities within policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs and goal setting.
• Administer progressive discipline with verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun, productive environment and aligning with company objectives.
• Recruit and train store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
