Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Maryland LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. This role includes assisting with daily tasks, helping customers, organizing merchandise, and maintaining seasonal displays to ensure a friendly and efficient shopping experience.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, strong communication skills, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties including walking, standing, climbing, and lifting.
• Strong written, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed and maintain seasonal areas.
