Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. The role focuses on assisting with store functions, merchandising, opening and closing procedures, and staff guidance to maintain a safe, friendly shopping environment.

You will help manage daily activities, ensure compliance with policies, and participate in payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention tasks, while upholding company standards in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
