Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and contribute to a positive store environment.

The role involves opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling support, loss prevention, and staff training. A high-energy, team-focused approach and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Open and close procedures.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Assist in training and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a safe, friendly environment for customers and staff.
• Protect store assets and follow company policies.
