Family Dollar in Portales, NM is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, assist customers, and develop the team. You will help organize merchandise, support opening and closing procedures, and ensure store standards are met across fixtures, stockroom, and sales floor.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, retail management experience preferred, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and record keeping.
• Maintain a well-stocked floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Ensure safety policies and professional conduct of associates.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
