Family Dollar in Lordsburg, NM is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily functions, organize merchandise, and help supervise and train store associates.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Maintain promotional storefront fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and receipts, and loss prevention
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure associates follow procedures
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Foster a positive, safe environment with customers, associates, and leaders
• Maintain store cleanliness, restrooms, floors, trash, and overall presentation
• Other duties as assigned*
