Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Stewartville, MN to support store operations, customer service, and team development. Will assist with daily activities, merchandising, and openings/closes while guiding associates and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and experience in retail or grocery management. Part-time position with competitive benefits and employee programs.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives is required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, and bending
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required

Mansioni

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process all corporate directives and store communications
• Maintain promotional fixtures, displays, and merchandising effectiveness
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, cash deposits)
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure staff follow procedures
• Help store manager supervise, train, and develop store associates
• Maintain a positive, safe environment and professional customer interactions
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, restrooms, floors, and trash removal
• Other duties as assigned
