Job summary

Dollar Tree in Willmar, Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and participate in opening/closing procedures.

With a focus on maintaining safety, cleanliness, and adherence to policies, you will supervise and train store associates, manage schedules and payroll records, and help protect company assets while delivering a positive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store areas to company standards and protect assets.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling records.
• Help supervise and develop store associates.
• Ensure a safe, friendly environment and maintain cleanliness.
