Family Dollar in Alabama is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandising, and supervising store associates to maintain standards.

You will help organize merchandise, process shipments, control loss prevention, and ensure a safe, friendly shopping environment for customers and staff. Previous retail supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Excellent organizational and loss-prevention awareness.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications; maintain store standards.
