Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in a fast-paced Birmingham location.

You will assist with daily functions, help customers, manage merchandise flow, and participate in payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention activities. A strong candidate will supervise and train associates while maintaining a safe, friendly environment for customers and staff.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Retail leadership experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
