Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store functions, help customers, and ensure merchandise flows from delivery to sales floor while maintaining seasonal areas.

The role involves opening/closing duties, processing directives, and supporting loss prevention, keeping the store clean and well organized for a safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize, merchandise transfer from truck to stockroom to floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
