Job summary

Family Dollar, part-time Assistant Store Manager position, is seeking an organized leader to help with store operations, customer service, and team development. • Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Maintain store areas and stockroom, transfer merchandise from delivery to floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention.
• Support store manager in training and developing store associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment and professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, restrooms, floors, and trash removal.
