Job summary

At Home Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager – Operations in a large-format Colorado Springs store. You will assist in leading operational, financial, and team functions, driving store performance and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The role leads Operations Leads and Zone Lead teams, mentoring staff, ensuring safety and organized operations, and supporting continuous process improvements. Bonus eligibility is noted in the job description.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of leadership in big-box/high-volume retail; lead 20+ team members.
• Experience managing $5M+ annual revenue or budget.

Responsibilities

• Drive store operations to meet sales and profit goals; create a customer-focused experience.
• Recruit, hire, and develop talent; build internal bench strength.
• Coach and develop staff; support career growth within At Home.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and payroll accuracy to improve profitability.
• Plan and manage operations including opening/closing and front-end processes.
• Direct freight, inventory, stocking and merchandising for in-stock conditions.
• Lead in customer satisfaction, loss prevention, safety, and cash handling.
• Address team and customer concerns with urgency and integrity.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws.
• Promote a positive, inclusive environment and model At Home values.
• Lead team communication through regular huddles and meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
