Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Indiana to support daily store operations, lead a team, and assist with staffing. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales performance, uphold operational standards, and support hiring, onboarding, and development of store associates.

You will supervise staff, coach performance, manage scheduling, protect assets, and ensure policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Proven retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver customer service.
• Assist with inventory control, shrink prevention, and transactions.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Supervise associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and service.
• Assist with hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training support.
• Maintain staffing levels and support retention.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Maintain safe, organized store environment and protect assets.
• Uphold merchandising and visual standards.
