Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Salem, NH, to lead with energy, ownership, and purpose alongside the Store Manager. You will drive sales, coach the team, and ensure the store runs smoothly day in and day out.

As a hands-on leader, you’ll connect with customers and teammates, set the tone on the floor, and take ownership of store execution. This role requires flexible hours and a passion for sneaker culture and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience in a leadership or key holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and solutions for each customer interaction.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and keep customers excited to shop.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping close the loop with customers.
• Help manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Ensure store standards, safety, and loss prevention procedures are followed.
• Take ownership of store execution and leverage retail technology to enhance the customer experience.
