Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development across merchandising, scheduling, and loss prevention. You will assist with opening/closing procedures, supervise associates, and help implement corporate directives while maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.

In this role you will ensure a safe, high-energy team atmosphere, deliver exceptional service, organize stock, and uphold company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas and stockroom to company standards.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Protect company assets, including store cash, and assist with loss prevention.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
