Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Steamboat Springs, CO. You will support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations, and lead the team during shifts or absences.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with emphasis on servicing customers and maintaining store standards. You will assist with hiring, scheduling, coaching, and ensuring POS accuracy, while managing returns, transfers, and daily banking procedures.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desirable: Certified Parts Professional Certification and ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and related programs.
• Ensure staffing during peak hours and coach team members on training.
• Assist in hiring, interviewing, scheduling, and candidate evaluation.
• Process orders, returns, exchanges, and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Maintain store opening/closing routines and secure money/deposits.
