Job summary

Crosby’s Stores is seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You’ll support the Team Leader in creating a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment while driving store success.

You will supervise team members, maintain high standards, and ensure a great experience for every customer—every day, every time, with responsibilities spanning customer service, operations, and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and able to work at least 40 hours per week, including weekends and 3 evenings.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic math for cash handling and shift reports.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service to every customer.
• Prepare fresh food and made-to-order items following Crosby’s quality and cleanliness standards.
• Promote and assist customers with enrolling in My Crosby’s Rewards.
• Drive sales through suggestive selling and add-on recommendations.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and brand standards.
• Train, coach, and support store associates.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing levels.
• Assist with inventory control, audits, and reporting.
• Follow opening/closing procedures and cash security policies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, tobacco, alcohol, and company regulations.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
