Job summary

Caleres is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a shoe retail team in Augusta, ME. You will act as the store leader in the Store Manager's absence, shaping a high-energy, guest-focused environment that delivers the best shoe store experience for families.

You will collaborate with the Store Manager to hire, train, and develop associates, drive sales growth, and ensure operational excellence across pricing, inventory, and store presentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• At least 1 year of sales experience (retail sales preferred).
• Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training people.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate with store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates to provide an engaging customer experience and execute operational tasks.
