Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong customer service leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to resolve issues and adapt to various store situations.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail in merchandising and paperwork.
• Ability to read diagrams, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Competence in basic math and cash handling; generate and review reports.
• Knowledge of cash handling, deposits, and cash-control practices.
• Willingness to drive own vehicle to the bank for deposits.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise flow: stocking, restocking, displays, and planograms.
• Maintain inventory accuracy; control damages, markdowns, scans, paperwork, and controls.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining planograms and product presentation.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability and deposit procedures; sign refunds/overrides.
• Assist in store management during Store Manager absence.
