Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist with daily activities, organize merchandise, and help supervise and train store associates to maintain high standards.

You will ensure a positive customer experience, follow corporate directives, and uphold safety and cleanliness across the store.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for storefronts.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged goods, payroll/scheduling/cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain organized sales floor and stockroom to company standards.
• Protect assets including store cash and secure premises.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies; supervise/train store associates as needed.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
