Job summary

Family Dollar in Waterbury, CT is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. This role focuses on merchandising, opening/closing procedures, and staff coaching to maintain a safe and welcoming store environment.

You will assist with scheduling, loss prevention, and maintaining a well-organized, clean sales floor and stockroom while upholding company standards and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and required for reading directives and operating store systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for daily interactions with customers.

• Experience in retail management or supervision is a plus.
• Willingness to assist with opening/closing procedures and merchandising tasks.
