Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 1–3 years supermarket management experience.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs consistently and 60 lbs occasionally.
• Strong communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Experience supervising people including training and development.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and manage department staffing.

Responsibilities

• Manage FPI, DAX & center store balance on hand (BOH) and assist Store Manager in achieving budgeted results.
• Oversee total store operation in Store Manager's absence.
• Protect assets, merchandise, cash, facilities and equipment.
• Ensure all shrink functions are performed and policies followed.
• Schedule department labor effectively and recruit/train staff.
• Develop and implement staff development plans and talent bench.
• Execute weekly pricing audits, ad checks, and monthly self-audits.
• Foster a guest-focused selling culture and maintain a safe guest environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Store Manager.
