Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the store manager in executing in-store merchandising programs and weekly sales plans to drive growth.
• Provide excellent customer service and front-end service commitment.
• Help achieve budgeted financial results for the store area and support overall store results.
• Protect assets: merchandise, cash, facilities and equipment; conduct weekly audits.
• Control store expenses and wage percent to meet budgets.
• Assist in staffing, forecasting, recruitment, and development of hi-potential employees.
• Ensure performance expectations are understood and reviewed with direct reports.
• Maintain awareness through regular store walks and condition reviews.
• Train and develop the store management team to build bench strength.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards in the store.
• Create a positive, customer-focused morale with effective supervision and recognition.
• Facilitate clear communication with Store Manager, Field Merchandisers and staff.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and regulations.
