Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Mesa, AZ to support store leadership in daily operations, scheduling, and team development. You will help drive store performance, supervise staff, and implement action plans to meet goals.

The role is full-time, 38 hours per week, with starting wage of $25.50 per hour and a Year 2 increase to $26.50. Benefits include medical, vacation, holidays, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in retail.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Supervise day-to-day store activities and staff performance.
• Manage schedules and payroll within budget and company policies.
• Identify training opportunities to develop and grow the team.
• Ensure store cleanliness, signage, and proper stock levels.
• Maintain product quality, pricing accuracy, and inventory procedures.
• Contribute to customer service through prompt, courteous support.
