Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to energize the floor, lead with ownership, and deliver a top-tier customer experience in a fast-paced sneaker culture environment. You’ll support the Store Manager in achieving sales goals and coaching a diverse team to excel daily on the sales floor.

You will drive daily operations, maintain standards, and apply safety and SOPs while leveraging technology to improve service. This role emphasizes accountability and team leadership.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership role.
• Ability to coach and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy, confidence, and solutions for each customer interaction.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and keep customers excited to shop.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping close the loop with customers.
• Manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and ensure safety and SOP compliance.
• Take ownership of issues and uphold standards for store execution.
• Leverage retail technology to enhance the customer experience and store ops.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled and support hiring and onboarding.
