Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in driving sales, coaching the team, and maintaining smooth store operations. This role requires hands-on leadership, ownership mindset, and a passion for sneaker culture and customer experience.

You will coach teammates, manage daily tasks, and ensure operational standards while delivering an engaging, energetic shopping environment for customers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the sales floor with energy and solutions to every customer interaction.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and product knowledge.
• Support sales goals and help the team close the loop with customers.
• Help manage daily store operations including opening/closing and cash handling.
• Move with purpose, keep the store organized and ready for customers.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs to protect people and product.
